Nine of the ten days: zero alcohol. The tenth was Jun 15 — the Dubai arrival. Roughly three glasses of wine, 46.7 g. Two nights before the draw.
It shows up everywhere in the data. Sleep RHR jumped to 58 then 59 against a 48–50 baseline. HRV fell to 19, then 15. Recovery dropped from 81 to 68. Every signal moved at once, and they moved on cue.
But one evening does not double a GGT. GGT responds to sustained exposure and carries a two-to-three-week half-life — a single night nudges it, nothing more. So the wine explains the heart rate, the HRV and the recovery. It does not explain the enzyme. Something else is doing that.
